On December 3, 2020 at 10:37 AM the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a home in the 1100 block of Cardinal Drive in Westtown Township for a residential alarm. Police arrived on scene in 3 minutes and found evidence of a forced entry burglary. Police and Detectives are on scene processing for evidence and seeking witnesses.

The two subjects in the surveillance images allegedly used a stolen credit card to purchase over $1,000 in merchandise at the Target in Exton at 1:00 p.m. today (12/1/20). The card belonged to a female who believes it was stolen while she was shopping at the Giant in Lionville.

Over the past several weeks, our area has seen a marked increase of vehicle break-in reports. We are aware of an increased number of occurrences within Kennett Township as well as in the neighboring communities of Kennett Square Borough, West Grove Borough, and New Garden Township. We would like to take a moment to explain the nature of these reports, how the crimes are committed, and how residents can protect their property.
