On January 22, 2019, the North Coventry Police responded to Kohl's on the report of a male in custody for retail theft. The male, identified as Bryson J. Bridges, was observed by Kohl's Loss Prevention selecting a sweatshirt while in the store. Bridges attempted to conceal the sweatshirt and left the store without paying for the item. Loss Prevention stopped Bridges and recovered the stolen merchandise. The sweatshirt was valued at $29.99. The police processed and issued Bridges a citation for retail theft. Bridges, who is currently on Montgomery County Adult Probation, was detained for violating his probation. Bridges was housed at Pottstown PD for the Montgomery County Sheriffs.
