On 01/25/2022 at 1218 hours officers from the North Coventry Township Police Department were dispatched to the Boscov’s Department Store at the Coventry Mall for a theft. Upon arrival, Police spoke with Loss Prevention personnel who stated a store employee was observed stealing money from the register as well as clothing merchandise. The Defendant, Jennifer Cortis, stole a total of $470.00 cash from select registers. Additionally, Cortis was observed selecting a black sweater, removing the price tags and wearing the sweater. Cortis was taken into custody and processed at the Pottstown Police Department and later released. Charges for Theft and Retail Theft were filed.
