On 6/16/2019, at about 1127 hours, the North Coventry Township Police Department responded to the Riverside Hotel, located at 209 S. Hanover Street, for the report of a psychiatric emergency. Police were advised that a male, later identified as David Gallo, entered the bar and was speaking to himself. Upon arrival, police spoke with Gallo and determined that he was under the influence of drugs. Police recovered a plastic baggie which contained suspected crystal methamphetamine from Gallo. Gallo was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and public drunkenness. Gallo was later arraigned and remanded to Chester County Prison. The preliminary hearing is set for 7/7/2019 at District Court 15-3-01.
