On January 17, 2018 at about 2329 hours, the North Coventry Police observed a Toyota 4 Runner on Rt. 100 NB in the area of Hoffecker Road traveling slowly and not traveling within its lane of traffic. The vehicle then partially drove onto the gore point at the S. Hanover Street exit. The police stopped the vehicle and spoke with the operator, Gloria Pufko. While speaking with Pufko, the police detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Pufko. She admitted to drinking wine earlier in the evening. Pufko refused to submit to field sobriety testing and was taken into custody for DUI. Pufko did submit to a breath test at the Pottstown Police Department. Pufko's BAC was 0.347%. Pufko was later arraigned and released on bail.
