On March 1, 2018, the North Coventry Police responded to the Kohl's Department Store on the report of a retail theft. Kohl's Loss Prevention observed Dorothy Rivera, 43, of Pottstown, select and conceal cosmetic items while in the store. Rivera left Kohl's with the merchandise and placed the items into her vehicle. Loss Prevention stopped Rivera. Rivera admitted to Loss Prevention that she did not pay for the cosmetic items before leaving the store. The stolen items were recovered. The value of the cosmetic items totaled $105.00. The police took Rivera into custody and cited her for retail theft. Rivera was later released.
