During the spring there are several areas in the township that amphibians will cross the road during evening rain showers to go to their breeding grounds. Our biggest area is on St. Peter’s Road between Hill Camp and Wells Roads. This is also a known area for some rare amphibian friends to cross at these times. During the peak times of crossing, there are volunteers who are out to assist with their migration. These volunteers will be in this area so please take notice and drive slowly. There are other areas in St. Peter’s Road that these guys will cross so take notice and please slow down! First anticipated date for crossing is tonight, 3/18. The volunteers will be in the area starting at 7pm.
