2 Vehicle crash

     While on routine patrol, officers from North Coventry Township Police Department located a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 100 and Hoffecker Road which had just occurred.  Officers found a blue Ford Taurus which had been struck by white Chevrolet Express van.  From the investigation officers found that the Ford which was occupied by a juvenile from Pheonixville had crossed over Route 100 in the path of the Chevrolet occupied by Deyvi Lujan of Harrisburg which was traveling south.  The Ford was struck by the Chevrolet and both vehicles received disabling damage from the collision.  The juvenile driver was transported to Reading Hospital with unknown injuries and the occupants of the Chevrolet advised they were uninjured and refused treatment.  The area of Route 100 where the collision occurred was closed for approximately 1 hour while the investigation was completed.  The vehicles were removed from the scene and the roadway was reopened without incident.  Assisted at the scene was E. Coventry Township Police Department, Goodwill Ambulance, North Coventry Fire Department and Sanatoga Auto Body.
