On 05/31/19 at approximately 1901 hours the North Coventry Township Police Department responded to the area of Route 422 west at mile marker 173.4 for the report of a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival officers found that a red Ford F-150 operated by Christopher Patton from King of Prussia had spun out after a possible vehicle failure and struck the center guard rail of the roadway. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the roadway by Sanatoga Auto Body. No injuries were reported as a result of this accident. From the investigation it was found that the Ford did not have current registration, inspection or insurance. It was also found that Patton was operating his vehicle while his driving license was under suspension. The left hand lane of Route 422 was closed while the investigation was completed and reopened after the vehicle was removed from the roadway. Patton was cited for driving under suspension, no registration, no inspection and no insurance.
