On 09/30/2020, the North Coventry Township Police Department investigated a two vehicle crash in the area of S. Hanover St. and Wendler Circle. Upon arrival, police observed Unit One, a green Chevy 1500 and Unit Two, a dark blue Volkswagen Golf, stopped along the shoulder of the roadway. Unit One was operated by, Ronald Christman, and Unit Two was operated by Sweta Shah. Through investigation it was determined that Unit One was traveling behind Unit Two in the south bound lane on S. Hanover St. Unit Two began to slow down to allow a vehicle to make a left turn. As Unit two began slowing down, the operator of Unit One became distracted and was unable to react to Unit Two stopping. Unit One struck the rear end bumper of Unit Two. Unit One sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Douglassville Auto Body. Unit Two sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. No injuries were reported.
