The North Coventry Township Police Department is excited to announce this years dates for the Community Events to be held in 2023!

We will be starting the spring off with our first ever Fishing Rodeo!  This Rodeo is geared to our young anglers in the community.  This event will be held on April 22nd 2023(More details to follow).


Winter has arrived and with that comes slick roads and other things to consider while out and about on the roadways.  The following tips are recommended by PENNDOT for safe driving during the winter months:

  • Carry a winter emergency travel kit.

  • Listen to weather and travel advisories, but if you don't have to travel in bad weather, don't.

  • Keep your gas tank at least half full.

  • Slow down and increase following distance.

  • Avoid sudden stops and starts.


The North Coventry Township Police Department is urging it's residents not to leave valuables inside their parked unattended vehicles.  There have been numerous reports of thefts from motor vehicles from inside locked and unlocked vehicles in and around the area.  The best way to safeguard your belongings is to not leave them inside your vehicle unattended.  If you observe something suspicious please call the police.  


     We have all seen in the news recently the so called "porch pirates" that have been caught by home and business owners arming themselves with privately owned security cameras and doorbell style cameras.  As these cameras are becoming more popular and affordable, law enforcement is finding these to be a great resource in tracking down criminals and securing evidence to be used in the prosecution of these offenders.  We are not only catching the porch pirates in the act, but because of the fisheye lens and the night vision capabilities we can capture vehicles
