Dalvin B. Alford, age 25, of Joppa, MD, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after he was found to be in possession of Fentanyl, a Schedule II Controlled Substance. The incident occurred on Monday January 11, 2021 at approx. 7:18 p.m., in the 1300 block of Newark Road, in New Garden Township. Police arrived and were handed the package found on Alford, that contained the suspected Fentanyl. Alford was taken into custody and transported to the Chester County Prison for processing and arraignment. He was released on bail. The case is pending a preliminary hearing.
