Nelson Lopez-Aguilar, age 22, of Toughkenamon was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, as well as with False Identification to Law Enforcement, after police observed his vehicle swerve across the center and fog lines and nearly strike two telephone poles. The incident occurred on 03/30/2019 at approx. 12:46 am, in the 100 block of Bancroft Road, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Lopez-Aguilar, police observed indicators suggesting intoxication. He provided the name of Ismael Lopez-Aguilar but a records check revealed that his true name was Nelson Lopez-Aguilar and that he was an unlicensed driver. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a B.A.C. of .186%. Once processed, it was learned that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was subsequently turned over to Constables. Charges filed in MDC 15-4-04.
