Mario Perez-Ramos, age 41, of Lincoln University, was arrested and charged with Endangering Welfare of Children, DUI, and related traffic offenses, following a call for an intoxicated subject attempting to buy alcohol. The incident occurred on Sunday November 8, 2020 at 3:29 p.m., in the 300 block of Scarlett Road, in New Garden Township. Perez-Ramos arrived to pick up the subject, accompanied by a minor child in his vehicle, and was observed displaying indicators of intoxication. Perez-Ramos was unable to perform field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. He agreed to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a B.A.C. of .195%. He was transported to the Chester County Prison for processing and arraignment. He was committed after failing to post bail. The case is pending a preliminary hearing.
