ROBBERY - On 01-08-2023 at 1:21pm, Officers were dispatched to a robbery that just occurred at the Sunoco gas station located at 8955 Gap Newport Pike, Avondale Pa., New Garden Township. The officers were informed the male had taken a wallet from a female attempting to purchase fuel. Kennett Township Police assisted SCCRPD. The male, later identified as Michael Green, of Dover Delaware, was located in the 8800 block of Gap Newport Pike & taken into custody without incident. Green was remanded to Chester County Prison after failing to post $50,000.00 monetary bail.
