Press Release - Lt. Joseph F. Greenwalt

The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department is excited to announce Lt. Joseph F. Greenwalt’s graduation from the 280th Session of the FBI National Academy.

The FBI National Academy is the premier leadership program for law enforcement across the globe.  Lt. Greenwalt started his eleven-week academic journey on October 4th, 2021.  On December 16th, 2021, Lt. Greenwalt along with one-hundred and twenty-seven classmates were certified as successfully graduating.

Chief Gerald R. Simpson commented that this is a noteworthy event for Lt. Greenwalt and the police organization.  In the history of the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department and its former identities, no officer has ever attended the FBINA; Lt. Greenwalt is our first and hopefully not the last employee to attend.

Lt. Greenwalt joins former graduates Chief Larry Dampman of the 138th Session and Chief Gerald R. Simpson of the 234th Session as an alumnus to this prestigious program.  Help us in congratulating Lt. Greenwalt for his accomplishment and welcoming him back home after his extended stay in Quantico, VA.
