Public Service Announcement – Fireworks
With 4th of July celebrations upon us, residents are reminded that, despite recent changes in the law, fireworks are still dangerous and account for numerous injuries and property damage each year around the country.
The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department is investigating multiple reported thefts from vehicles that occurred in the Landenberg section of New Garden Township, during the overnight hours from Thursday 06/20/2019 into Friday 06/21/2019. In some cases, multiple vehicles on the same property were entered and, in all cases, the vehicles were unlocked.

Safety Reminder - Refrigerators
Residents are reminded that it is a violation of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code (Title 18, Section 6502) to discard a refrigerator or icebox, with a capacity of 1.5 cubic feet or more, with the door or lid still attached, in any place that is accessible to children. The SCCRPD has investigated four violations of this law in recent weeks. With warmer weather upon us, more children will be playing outside and these appliances can make tempting hiding spots.
