CREDIT CARD FRAUD ARREST

3/7/17 at 1922 hours – 1100 block of Seaton Ross Road in Wayne. Steven Parsons, 27, of West Chester, PA was charged with multiple counts of Unauthorized Credit Card Use and Theft by Unlawful Taking after the victim reported fraudulent transactions on their credit cards.

IDENTITY THEFT ARREST

3/29/17 at 1403 hours – 600 block of Swedesford Road. Police were called after an unknown person used the identity of two employees to order a controlled prescription. Kristina Kennard, 39, of Aston, PA was charged with Identity Theft and Unlawful Pharmacy Acts.

POSSESSION

4/1/17 at 1502 hours – Route 202. Cameron Calloway, 36, of Philadelphia, Pa was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

FALSE POLICE REPORT

4/3/17 at 1412 hours – Howellville Road in Berwyn. John Knowles, 49, of Parkesburg, PA was charged with supplying False Identification to Law Enforcement during a traffic stop. 

RECOVERED PURSES

4/3/17 – Two purses were recovered from a dumpster in Devon which belonged to residents who had reported them stolen. The case is under investigation.

*** Police urge residents to lock their vehicles at all times.

POSSESSION

4/4/17 at 1203 hours - Route 202. Jordan Simmons, 21, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

RETAIL THEFT

4/4/17 at 2030 hours –TJ Maxx in Gateway Shopping Center. Brietta Amaouche, 47, of Broomall, PA was charged with Retail Theft after she switched retail tags on several items and had 2 items in her bag that weren’t paid for.

RETAIL THEFT

4/4/17 at 2103 hours –TJ Maxx in Gateway Shopping Center. Diouma Traore, 18, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with multiple counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking; Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property after Loss Prevention conducted an internal investigation of suspicious return transactions of over $644.00. Traore also admitted to thefts of merchandise during her employment.

THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

Many areas of the township are experiencing thefts from unlocked vehicles, especially during the warmer weather. Items that are being stolen from cars include: loose change, wallets, sunglasses, electronics, checkbooks and identification. To help prevent these thefts, please LOCK YOUR VEHICLES AT ALL TIMES!

4/9/17 at 0129 hours – Route 202. Edgar Asis, 27, of Brooklyn, NY was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
