THEFT

11/22/17 – T-Mobile store in Gateway Shopping Center. Police were dispatched to the report of a theft of an iPhone X, valued at $1,000. The actors fled the store, getting into a vehicle which struck another vehicle while fleeing. After viewing surveillance footage of the theft, and conducting an investigation, officers were able to identify the actor who stole the phone. The actor – Dwayne Minor, 28, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with the following crimes: Retail Theft; Theft by Unlawful Taking; Receiving Stolen Property; Criminal Mischief with Damage to property; Criminal Mischief/Tampering with Property; Recklessly Endangering another Person and Accident Involving Damage.  

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

11/23/17 – Paoli Acme. A 34 year old male from Wayne, PA was charged with Criminal Mischief by Fire after he set a trash can on fire in the parking lot. The flames were extinguished before the fire got out of control.

SHOPLIFTING

11/24/17 – Paoli Acme. The store’s loss prevention reported actors fled the store with several four packs and cases of Red Bull. The value is approximately $241.00. The case is under investigation.

POSSESSION

11/24/17 – Route 422. During a traffic stop, officers charged Haley Brooks, 18, of Norristown, PA with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.

SHOPLIFTING

11/24/17 – Carter’s store in Gateway Shopping Center. Employees reported three females fled the store carrying several items out, with no attempt to conceal the items. The value of the clothing is unknown at this time.  

DISTRACTION BURGLARY

11/27/17 – 100 block of Upper Gulph Road in Wayne. The elderly victim reported that an unknown male came to the door asking questions about tree branches hanging over the sidewalk at a neighboring house and asked the victim to step outside to look, leaving the door unlocked. While outside, jewelry was stolen from the home. The case is under investigation.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

11/28/17 – 600 block of Old Eagle School Road. A 70 year old male from Wayne, PA was charged with Harassment and Public Drunkenness after causing a disturbance on the neighbor’s property.

SHOPLIFTING

11/29/17 – CVS store in Paoli. The store manager reported a theft of weight loss supplements and vitamins by an unknown female actor. The value of the stolen items is approximately $782.00. The case is under investigation.

PICKPOCKET

11/30/17 – Panera Bread in Gateway Shopping Center. The victim reported her purse stolen while dining in the restaurant. The purse contained two wallets, iPhone and other contents. Credit cards stolen had already been used for fraudulent purchases at Best Buy and the Apple Store. The case is under investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

12/2/17 – Valley Forge Park. The victim reported their purse stolen from their vehicle while they were visiting the park. Later that afternoon, their credit card companies called to confirm large purchases, which were not made by the victim.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THE LAB RESULTS AND/OR CHEMICAL BREATH TESTING HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY VERIFIED AND DETERMINED TO BE UNFIT TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFELY ON THE ROADWAY.

Stephen Greenfield, 32, of King of Prussia, PA – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .377%

Marie Patterson, 77, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .120%

Stacey Petroff, 48, of Chester Springs, PA – BAC was .095%

Joseph Smith, 27, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .102%

Garland Sutton, 43, of Downingtown, PA – BAC was .188%
