RETAIL THEFT

2/23/17 at 1550 hours – Rite Aid store in Chesterbrook Shopping Center. Sean Sweetwood, 19, of Wayne, PA was charged with Retail Theft; Theft by Unlawful Taking and Possession of a Controlled Substance after he took store merchandise and pills from the pharmacy without paying for them.

RETAIL THEFT

2/23/17 at 1634 hours – TJ Maxx store in Gateway Shopping Center. Nicholas Care, 27, of Birdsboro, PA was charged with Retail Theft after he exited the store without paying for merchandise. Care was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia during his contact with officers.

COUNTERFEIT CASHIER CHECKS

Police warn residents that fraudulent cashier checks are circulating the area. Unsuspecting victims are receiving them as a part of a phone and/or mail scam. Do not attempt to cash them.

ASSAULT

3/2/17 at 0805 hours – Donalyn Lane in Berwyn. Police charged Blaine Warkentine, 47, of Berwyn, PA with Propulsion of Missle into an Occupied Vehicle; Simple Assault causing Bodily Injury; Harassment and Disorderly Conduct after he was involved in a fender bender which turned into an altercation.

POSSESSION

3/4/17 at 0755 hours – Route 202. Gregory Robinson, 39, of Norristown, PA was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

POSSESSION/ BB GUNS

3/5/17 at 1855 hours – Washington Place in Wayne. Police responded to the report of actors shooting BB guns in the area. Officers contacted four males; three juveniles were charged with Disorderly Conduct and the fourth – Orestes Frangakis, 18, of Wayne, PA was additionally charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during the incident.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THE LAB RESULTS FROM PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE HAVE BEEN VERIFIED AND DETERMINED TO BE UNFIT TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFELY ON THE ROADWAY.

Harish Aiyar, 46, of Berwyn, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was >.300%

Jon Cheshire, 67, of Malvern, PA – BAC was .120%

Gerald Monahan, 29, of Philadelphia, PA – BAC was .188%

Maureen Morgan, 55, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .232%

Janien Murray, 48, of Norwood, PA – BAC was .104%

Paul Perrymore, 47, of Philadelphia, PA – BAC was .221%
