ASSAULT

10/7/19 – 900 block of Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Wayne. Police charged Tonya Simmons, 48, of Phoenixville, PA with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct after she was involved in a domestic dispute.

RETAIL THEFT

10/10/19 – CVS in Wayne. The store manager discovered the theft of blood pressure monitors and Crest white strips by an unknown female who concealed the items in her purse. The merchandise was valued at approximately $715.

STOLEN TRAILER

10/11/19 – 800 block of Cassatt Road in Berwyn. A construction trailer was reported stolen from the parking lot. The trailer was valued at $3600.

FALSE REPORT

10/11/19 – Route 202. During a traffic stop, police charged Kaiana Brown, 40, of Philadelphia, PA with False ID to Law Enforcement after she provided a fictitious name to the officers.

RESISTING ARREST

10/12/19 – Minor Avenue in Paoli. Police charged Tina Hopkins, 49, of Paoli, PA with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness after she was involved in a domestic dispute.

PURSE/WALLET THEFTS

There have been several purse and/or wallet thefts reported from shopping carts at the Acme and Trader Joe’s and from purses hanging on chair backs in Panera Bread. Police warn residents not to leave your belongings in carts or hanging on chairs while dining. It takes thieves seconds to steal your things.

10/16/19 – Main Street in Wayne. Police charged Yusuf Tayea, 19, of Wayne, PA with Simple Assault and Harassment after he was involved in a domestic dispute.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

10/19/19 – Lifetime Fitness. The victim reported her purse stolen from the vehicle while she was teaching a class. Before she realized it missing, over $4500 in fraudulent charges were made in King of Prussia stores and restaurants.

ASSAULT

10/20/19 – Keystone Avenue in Paoli. Police charged Stephanie DeLuca, 38, of Paoli, PA with Simple Assault and Harassment after she was involved in a domestic dispute.

RETAIL THEFT

10/22/19 – CVS in Paoli. The store manager reported the theft of merchandise by an unknown male who was observed concealing the items. The value is unknown at this time.

VEHICLE THEFT

10/28/19 – Crocodile Café in Wayne. A delivery van was reported stolen from the parking lot. It was later recovered in Boyertown, PA. The case is under investigation.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

10/30/19 – Paoli Acme parking lot. Police charged Giancarlo Mesa, 33, of Paoli, PA with Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness and Disorderly Conduct after he was observed to be unclothed in his vehicle by the occupant of the vehicle parked nearby.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

11/5/19 – Valley Fair Shopping Center parking lot in Berwyn. The victim reported a laptop stolen from the vehicle.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

11/5/19 – Baptist Church of the Great Valley. The victim reported their car window smashed out and backpack stolen while they were inside voting.

THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

11/7/19 – Lifetime Fitness. Police responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle driving through the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled. It was determined that the license plate displayed was stolen. It was later discovered that vehicles in the parking lot had been broken into and items stolen. The case is under investigation.

THEFT

11/13/19 – Floor & Décor store in Berwyn. Police charged Adhan Cousin, 18, of Philadelphia, PA with Theft by Unlawful Taking after he was observed removing over $500 in cash from the register on several dates.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THE LAB RESULTS AND/OR CHEMICAL BREATH TESTING HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY VERIFIED AND DETERMINED TO BE UNFIT TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFELY ON THE ROADWAY.

William Carrier, 27, of Phoenixville, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .169% and marijuana was present in his system.

Amy Cava, 44, of Wayne, PA – Xanax was present in her system.

Amber Jones, 25, of Philadelphia, PA – BAC was .115%

Brian Mazer, 44, of Upper Darby, PA – BAC was .152%

William Pratt, 21, of Conshohocken, PA – BAC was .124%

Yuri Shevchenko, 64, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .161%

Carley Shank, 24, of Norristown, PA – BAC was .305%

Michael Swavola, 65, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .169%

Deborah Tartaglio, 48, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .207%
