THEFT

10/5/18 – Westlakes Drive. Megan Hallock, 23, of Pottstown, PA was charged with Forgery, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property after an investigation into the theft of a company check was conducted.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

11/13/18 – Devon Park Drive. During a traffic stop, it was determined that the vehicle was reported stolen. The driver – Sharod McKenney, 33, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and other traffic violations.

RETAIL THEFT

11/16/18 – TJ Maxx in Gateway. Police charged Paige Blauer 31, of Wayne, PA with Retail Theft after concealing merchandise and attempting to exit the store.

THEFT

11/16/18 – Target in Strafford. Police charged employee Kiara Ventura, 19, of Philadelphia, PA with Theft after she admitted to stealing money from the register.

SIGN THEFTS

11/16/18-11/27/18 – A large amount of yard signs have been reported stolen from several residents’ private properties. The stolen signs were in many areas the township.

POSSESSION

11/16/18 – Old Eagle School Rd in Wayne. During a traffic stop, Police charged Surya Mithra Kattula, 27, of King of Prussia, PA with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.

POSSESSION

11/18/18 – Route 422. During a traffic stop, police charged Andrew Schalleur, 29, of Collegeville PA with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia. Another passenger, Christopher Lasorda, 27, of Collegeville was charged with providing False ID to Law Enforcement after giving the officers the incorrect name.

11/18/18 – Route 202. During a traffic stop, Police charged James Martin III, 19, of West Chester, PA with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana.

ASSAULT

11/19/18 – Eaves Spring Rd in Malvern. Police charged Emily Deeter, 23, of Malvern, PA and Wesley Simmons, 23, of Parkesburg, PA with Simple Assault and Harassment after they were both involved in a domestic altercation.

POSSESSION

11/19/18 - Route 202. During a traffic stop, Police charged Elizabeth Mitchell, 24, of Malvern, PA with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

11/19/18 – North Valley Rd in Malvern. During a traffic stop, Police charged Milton Sonn, 76, of Wayne, PA with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana.

POSSESSION

11/21/18 – Upper Gulph Rd in Wayne. During a traffic stop, police charged Christopher Huston, 33, of Drexel Hill, PA with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Designer Drug and Paraphernalia.

POSSESSION

11/23/18 – Upper Gulph Rd in Wayne. During a traffic stop, police charged Eamonn Rongione, 20, of Wayne, PA and Thomas Redmond, 20, of Bryn Mawr, PA with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.

ROBBERY

11/24/18 – TJ Maxx in Gateway. While the store’s Loss Prevention officer attempted to stop a suspect from exiting the store with stolen merchandise, a 2nd suspect sprayed the officer in the face with pepper spray allowing both actors to exit the store. The merchandise was left behind, however, it was later determined that suspect #2 had made a fraudulent return of several items. The case is under investigation.  

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

11/26/18 – 1500 block of Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. The store owner discovered significant damage to the rear door and called police. Nothing inside was stolen.

BURGLARY

11/26/18 – 600 block of Twin Bridge Rd in Wayne. Police were called to the report of a burglary discovered. The home had extensive damage when officers arrived. The case is under investigation.

POSSESSION

11/26/18 – Morris Drive in Chesterbrook. While on patrol, police observed two parked vehicles in the parking lot, which was otherwise empty as it was after hours. The odor of marijuana was present when the officers contacted the occupants. As a result, Michael Freeman, 36, of Philadelphia was charged with Possession of a small amount of marijuana.

11/28/18 – Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn. Police charged Whitney Strother, 26, of Berwyn, PA with Possession of a small amount of marijuana when they detected the odor of marijuana in her vehicle.
