THEFT OF SERVICES

8/16/18 – Police charged Elsie Segal, 77, of Wayne, PA with Theft of Services after she failed to pay a bill to a service station for vehicle assistance.

RETAIL THEFT

9/27/18 – Gamestop store in Wayne. Police charged Zachary Kissel, 27, of Phoenixville, PA and Kyriq Williams, 27, of Philadelphia, PA with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property after they took several Xbox controllers without paying for them.

WALLET THEFT

9/29/18 – Acme store in Wayne. The victim’s wallet was stolen from her purse while it was in the shopping cart. An unknown male had distracted her, causing her to look away as the theft occurred. Police remind residents not to leave the purses and wallets in shopping carts. It only takes a few seconds for someone to steal it. 

RETAIL THEFT

10/1/18 – Acme store in Paoli. The store’s Asset Protection Officer reported a male suspect was observed on surveillance video concealing several food items in a hand basket and exiting the store without paying for the items. The case is under investigation. 

THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

10/2/18 – Orange Theory Parking Lot in Paoli. Two victims had purses stolen from their cars while they were inside the building. Both vehicles had the windows smashed out. Items stolen included wallets, cash, iPhone, credit cards, glasses and personal information. The case is under investigation.

RETAIL THEFT

10/3/18 – TJ Maxx store in Gateway Shopping Center. Officers were dispatched to the report of retail theft in progress. The actors were observed placing merchandise into large tote bags, but later removing the items when they saw store employees and proceeded to exit the store. The bags were lined with a material to defeat sensors. The actors - Shanese Clark, 28, and Omovudu Iwesi, 43, both of New York, NY were charged with Retail Theft and Possession of an Instrument of Crime.

RESISTING ARREST

10/5/18 – Sorrill Road in Malvern. Police charged Marc Daniel, 28, of Malvern, PA with Aggravated Assault; Resisting Arrest; Terroristic Threats and Harassment following a domestic dispute.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

10/7/18 – Wilson Park. Police charged two 16 year old females, both of Wayne, PA with Underage Drinking after they were observed in the park after hours.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

10/9/18 – Embassy Suites in Chesterbrook. The victim reported a bag containing two laptops and a monitor was stolen from their vehicle during the overnight hours. It is unknown if the vehicle was left unlocked.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

10/12/18 – Old Lancaster Road in Devon. The victim reported envelopes containing cash were stolen from the unlocked vehicle. Police remind residents to lock car doors at all times, even in private driveways. And never leave valuables in there.

THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

10/13/18 – 200 block of Adams Drive in Chesterbrook. Two victims reported their vehicles had the windows smashed and purses stolen. The purses contained wallets, credit cards, identification. The case is under investigation.  

THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

10/15/18 – Orange Theory Parking lot in Paoli. Two victims reported their car windows smashed and purses stolen. The purses contained wallets, credit cards, identification, iPhone, medication and keys. The case is currently under investigation.

POSSESSION

10/16/18 – Route 202. During a traffic stop, officers charged Chelsey Andrews, 26 and Brian Jumper, 39, both of Exton, PA with the following crimes: Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.

FORGERY ARRESTS

On 8/14/18, Police began conducting an investigation into forged checks. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that four actors were involved. The following males have been charged with Forgery; Bad Checks; Identity Theft; Theft by Deception and Access Device Fraud: Marven Belotte, 21, Maurice Gillis, 23, Darren Morgan, 19, all of Philadelphia, PA and Charles McLaurin, 40, of Upper Darby, PA.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THE LAB RESULTS AND/OR CHEMICAL BREATH TESTING HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY VERIFIED AND DETERMINED TO BE UNFIT TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFELY ON THE ROADWAY.

Leonard Dendunnen, 60, of Wayne, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .409%

Ashley Fox, 35, of Norristown, PA – BAC was .196%

Tiffany Koser, 37, of Plymouth Meeting, PA – BAC was .157%

Justin Lambert, 27, of Paoli, PA – BAC was .157%

Teon Lee, 25, of Lancaster, PA – BAC was .148%

Maureen Murphy, 58, of Wayne, PA – BAC was .270%

Fred Ream, 32, of Etters, PA – BAC was .277%

Pablo Sanchez, 37, of Devon, PA – BAC was .249%

Denise Wilson, 50, of Malvern, PA – BAC was .134%
