On Wednesday May 18, 2022 at approximately 11:03 pm patrol officers from the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department were dispatched to the 3000 building of Valley Drive in East Goshen Township for a report of a disturbance. A patrol officer quickly arrived on location and was flagged down by a male in the parking lot that was bleeding heavily from his head and upper body. The male advised police that he was just stabbed by a male inside his apartment after an argument. Officers observed several lacerations and stab wounds on the victim's head and back. Goshen Fire Company responded and transported the victim to Paoli Memorial Hospital for treatment. Officers entered the apartment and made contact with Robert Baynard who had fresh blood on his clothing and a laceration to his thumb. Baynard was taken into custody without incident and later transported to Chester County Prison for arraignment on the below listed charges.
