Nicholas Martella of Aston, PA and Nicolina Marvin of Brookhaven, PA have been arrested by WEGO PD for Retail Theft and related offenses in connection to two retail thefts committed at the Dilworthtown Crossing Giant Food Store in Thornbury Township, Chester County, PA. Giant Asset Protection reported a male was dropped off at the Giant by a white Chevrolet Malibu and stole baby formula and other merchandise on July 18th, 2019. Nicholas Martella was later identified as the male and an arrest warrant was issued. WEGO and Brookhaven Police made contact with Nicolina Marvin at her Brookhaven residence and found Nicholas Martella hiding in the attic of the residence. Nicholas Martella was taken into custody, arraigned on his charges, and remanded to Chester County Prison after being unable to post $10,000 cash bail. Giant Asset Protection later reported they discovered that Nicholas Martella, who was again dropped off by a white Chevrolet Malibu, committed an additional retail theft of baby formula and other merchandise on July 30th, 2019. Through further investigation it was determined that Nicolina Marvin was an accomplice in the thefts, and the two are believed to be connected to several other retail thefts in Chester and Delaware Counties. Additional charges of Retail Theft, Criminal Conspiracy, and other related offenses were filed against Nicholas Martella in connection to the July 30th, 2019 theft. Nicolina Marvin has been charged with Retail Theft, Criminal Conspiracy, and other related offenses in connection to the July 18th, 2019 and July 30th, 2019 thefts. Both are awaiting a preliminary hearings at district court.
