Case

Over the past several weeks, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department has been dispatched to several different reports of theft from vehicles. In these specific cases, the victim's vehicles were parked in church parking lots and unattended. The victim’s had left personal items in plain view inside the vehicle such as purses, bags, etc. When they returned to their vehicle they discovered windows smashed out and their personal items stolen.

While attending public locations where a large amount of vehicles will be parked such as church parking lots, fitness centers, and public parks, please conceal or remove any items of value that might attract a criminal’s attention.

If somebody appears suspicious in these parking lots such as sitting in their vehicle for an extended amount of time or just walking around the parking lot looking at vehicle’s, please contact 911 dispatch immediately.
