On December 17th, 2022, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department investigated numerous stolen vehicle reports in addition to several theft from vehicle reports that occurred in the overnight hours in East Goshen Township. Patrol officers actively searched for several suspects as they fled from police via stolen vehicles and on foot.
At around 8:30am, an observant resident noticed a suspicious male walking through a neighborhood that appeared to be avoiding an unrelated police incident nearby. With the assistance of West Goshen Township Police, the male was stopped and detained in the 1300 block of Boot Road, East Goshen Township.
As a result of an investigation, a 16-year-old juvenile male from Wilmington, Delaware, was arrested and charged in relation to the stolen vehicles and theft from vehicles. Police are actively investigating other suspects related to these incidents.
