Bank Robbery-PNC Bank Westtown Township ARREST MADE

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department would thank the community for assisting with the identification of the male subject who committed the bank robbery at the PNC Bank-Westtown Branch on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The individual has been identified and taken into custody. This was a cooperative investigation between the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, Delaware State Police and the Philadelphia Police Department.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10:49 AM at the PNC Bank located in the 1500 block of West Chester Pike in Westtown Township, Chester County, PA.
A male individual approached the bank on foot, presented a male teller with a demand note implying that he was armed and demanded cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled out of the bank. Three employees inside the bank at the time of the robbery were not injured.
The suspect is a W/M 6’0” 175 lbs., thin build with gray hair and balding. The subject was wearing a blue plaid shirt, khaki pants, white socks and gray color sneakers.
The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Delaware State Police and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.
