Happy Halloween: Keep Our Little Goblins Safe

- Halloween is super exciting for kids, but can also be very dangerous. On average, twice as many child pedestrians are killed while walking on Halloween compared to any other day of the year. Stay safe by staying VISIBLE: bring flashlights, glow sticks and reflective goodie bags, and add reflective tape to costumes.

- This Halloween, have fun and be safe. stay on the sidewalk and off the road when going house to house. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic and as far to the side as possible.

- Don’t assume the right-of-way on Halloween night. Motorists can have trouble seeing trick-or-treaters, especially at dusk. Stay visible and use sidewalks.

- We ask motorists to drive slower than average and stay alert due to increased foot traffic around the Townships.
