The police department is responding to numerous severely flooded roadways - several of which have resulted in motorists needing to be rescued from their cars. Please do not travel unless it is absolutely essential!

Late last evening a resident living on Tramore Circle contacted the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department to report that a contractor working at their residence mistakenly walked in to the neighbors home. The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department would like to thank members of the community that checked their home surveillance system for potential evidence. Have a great day!

On July 27, 2020 at 4:57 pm the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a home on Tramore Circle after a suspicious individual entered a rear basement door that was unlocked. The homeowner confronted the subject who claimed to be in the house to complete construction. The subject left on foot and was described as a Hispanic male about 20 years old wearing a yellow soccer jersey and gold Ray-Ban sunglasses. Police are asking for assistance from the community with checking surveillance cameras between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Police can be contacted at 610-692-5100.

Rt. 202 (Wilmington Pike) southbound, between Pleasant Grove Road and Rt. 926, is now open. 

Rt 202 (Wilmington Pike) is closed between Pleasant Grove Rd and Rt 926 in Westtown Township due to Fire Department activity. Please use an alternate route.

The incident in the Steeplechase development has been resolved and the area is open again

Police incident in the Steeplechase development has access to the development blocked for an extended period of time. Please avoid area.

East Street Road is closed just East of South Chester Road due to a large tree down across the road. At this time we do not know when PennDOT will be on scene to clear it.
