East Street Road is closed just East of South Chester Road due to a large tree down across the road. At this time we do not know when PennDOT will be on scene to clear it.

PennDOT has just completed roadway clean-up after a serious accident that occurred earlier today on Rt. 926 (East Street Road) just east of Westtown Road. The roadway was closed for approximately 7 hours during the scene investigation and extended clean-up.

Serious crash on E. Street Road (Route 926) in the area of Cheyney Road has traffic blocked in both directions - seek alternate routes

Scene has been cleared and traffic is now flowing smoothly

Route 202 southbound, just north of Route 926, a disabled tractor trailer with a fuel spill is blocking traffic. Expect delays during cleanup and use alternate routes

Due to last nights storm E. Street Road (Rt. 926), between Westbourne Rd. and Shiloh Rd., is closed in both directions due to a tree down on wires.  The appropriate agencies have been notified to remedy the problem.  Once the roadway is open we will let everyone know. 

Due to the storm this evening trees are down and blocking Little Shiloh Road. This road is closed between Shiloh Road and Westtown Road. The downed trees are on PECO wires. WEGO PD and WGPD are awaiting a response from PECO and also Public Works.

Please be advised that southbound traffic on Wilmington Pike in shutdown. All traffic is being diverted off Wilmington Pike onto Cheyney Drive due to a large tree blocking the southbound lanes across from the Westtown Township Building. Police are awaiting PennDOT to clear the large tree from the roadway.
