The fuel spill has been resolved and the roadway has been reopened

Route 202 is closed between Route 926 and High Street due to a large fuel spill from a tractor trailer. Extended road closures are expected - use detours and avoid the area

West Chester Pike is now open in both directions. Manley Road north of West Chester Pike remains closed as PECO replaces a utility pole.

Police are investigating an auto accident with a pole and active wires down at the intersection of West Chester Pike and Manley Road. Please use an alternate route due to closed roadways. PECO has been contacted.

The police department is responding to numerous severely flooded roadways - several of which have resulted in motorists needing to be rescued from their cars. Please do not travel unless it is absolutely essential!

Late last evening a resident living on Tramore Circle contacted the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department to report that a contractor working at their residence mistakenly walked in to the neighbors home. On July 27, 2020 at 4:57 pm the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a home on Tramore Circle after a suspicious individual entered a rear basement door that was unlocked. The homeowner confronted the subject who claimed to be in the house to complete construction. The subject left on foot and was described as a Hispanic male about 20 years old wearing a yellow soccer jersey and gold Ray-Ban sunglasses. Police are asking for assistance from the community with checking surveillance cameras between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Police can be contacted at 610-692-5100.
