On Thursday, 2/3/2022 at 3:47PM, West Chester Police responded to 100 block of E. Market St., West Chester Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect entered the store and assaulted the store owner before fleeing the store with approximately $1,000.00 in cash. West Chester Detectives conducted a lengthy investigation. During the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified as Paul Anthony Berry, 50 year old black male from West Chester Borough. On Tuesday, 3/22/2022 at 11:00AM, Paul Anthony Berry surrendered himself to West Chester Detectives. Berry was arraigned at District Court 15-1-04 by Magistrate Judge Marian Vito. Bail was set at $100,000.00 unsecure. A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday 3/29/2022 at District Court 15-1-04.
