On September 1, 2018 at approximately 1:52 PM, West Chester Police officers responded to the area of New and Nields Streets for a report of an individual with a possible emotional disorder and/or an individual under the influence of an unknown substance. Several officers attempted to speak with Igor Bolte. Bolte, W/M/25 YOA of West Chester abruptly sprinted toward a third police officer and purposely ran into him, injuring the officer. Bolte was taken into custody for aggravated assault and public drunkenness. Bolte was remanded to the Chester County Prison in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. Court pending.
