On Tuesday, 12/8/2020, the final two subjects turned themselves in at West Chester PD regarding the active warrants filed for their arrest. The arrests come after an incident that took place on Saturday, 8/15/2020 at 2:02am. A 21 year old female resident was walking home from work when she was attacked by Jorge Luis Mendez Jr. (aka Jaslyn Mendez) in the 50 block of W. Gay St. The victim was escorted away by her friends and was chased down by a group of subjects where she was assaulted a second time in the 50 block of E. Gay St. Victim received injury to her head, body, legs and feet as a result of being drug in the roadway by the offenders. The subjects arrested in the case are Jorge Luis Mendez Jr. 18 year old Coatesville resident; Cionna Loveland, 18 year old Coatesville resident (arrested 12/2/2020); Jayda Core, 18 year old Coatesville resident and Khadigah Martin 28 year old Coatesville resident (arrested on 11/15/2020).
