On March 6, 2023, at approximately 3:00 P.M., West Chester Police responded to a residence located in the 600 block of East Miner Street for the report of a disturbance. Through an investigation, a 35-year-old black female from West Chester, Shukria Hasan, was identified as the aggressive subject in this incident. Hasan was taken into custody for assault, brought back to the police department, processed, and released. Hasan was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault. Reckless Endangerment, Possessing and Instrument of a Crime, and Harassment. A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
