On 11/27/2020 at 6:30am West Chester Borough Police responded to the 300 block of Harmony Alley for a report of an attempted burglary discovered. On location, officers found pry marks on a door, and a security camera missing from the front of the property. Security camera footage provided by the homeowner, as well as items left on scene by the offender, gave officers enough evidence to arrest Marcus Trust (B/M/44 YOA of West Chester) for burglary and related charges. Trust admitted to committing the burglary when interviewed by Officers. Trust was processed at West Chester Borough Police Headquarters and transported to Chester County Prison for arraignment. A preliminary hearing is pending in District Court 15-1-01.
