On Friday, July 7, 2017 at approximately 7:47 PM a 24 year old West Chester man was robbed at gunpoint after he was picked up by a female acquaintance.  The victim reported he was picked up by Amanda Smith, WNH/F/19 YOA of West Chester  and went to the Luk-Oil in West Chester Borough where Smith was to meet two subjects; Nathan Tashan Westley  BNH/M/22 YOA of Oxford and  Johnathon Manuel Reyes WH/M/25 YOA of Wilmington, DE. While driving Westley allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded items from the victim.  The victim gave Westley his wallet, cell phone $10.00 and a bottle of Hennessey.  Reyes allegedly checked the victim's pockets. The victim was then ordered from the vehicle and the actors drove off with his items.

On Monday, September 11, 2017 at approximately 1:17 AM  Westley was taken into custody and transported to WCPD.  Westley was charged with Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, RSP, Simple Assault, REAP, Terroristic Threats, Criminal use of Communication Facility, Possessing Instruments of Crime, Possession of Firearms Prohibited, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License and Criminal Conspiracy.  Westley was arraigned before a Magistrate and bail was set at $50,000.00 cash.  Westley was remanded to Chester County Prison.  A preliminary hearing was held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.  All charges were held for further action from the Courts of Common Pleas.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Smith turned herself in to the West Chester Police Department Smith was charged with Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, RSP, Simple Assault, REAP, Terroristic Threats, Criminal use of Communication Facility and Criminal Conspiracy.  Smith was arraigned befpre a Magistrate and bail was set at $25,000.00 unsecured.  Smith waived her right to a preliminary hearing and all charges were sent to the Courts of Common Pleas for further action.

On Thursday, September 14, 2017, Reyes was taken into custody at his residence on Pleasant St. in Wilmington DE.  Reyes was in possession of the victim's cell phone and the number had been changed.  Reyes was extradited to Pennsylvania.  Reyes was charged with Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, RSP, Simple Assault, REAP, Terroristic Threats, Criminal use of Communication Facility, Possessing Instruments of Crime and Criminal Conspiracy to all the above charges.  On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, a preliminary hearing was held before a Magistrate.  All charges were held for further action from the Courts of Common Pleas.
