On July 23rd, 2022, at approximately 1:00 A.M., the West Chester Police responded to the 500 block of South Matlack Street for the report of a burglary in progress. Through an investigation, it was determined that an unknown subject gained access to a residence through an unsecured first floor window. The subject fled in an unknown direction prior to officers' arrival. Officers discovered that access was attempted at two neighboring residences, but was unsuccessful.
