In September 2022 the West Chester Police Criminal Investigations Division began an investigation for internal theft within the Borough Parking Department. During the course of the investigation the offender was identified as Hector Mojica. Mojica was employed by West Chester Borough in the Parking Enforcement Division. Hector Mojica, a Hispanic male, 59 YOA of Columbia, PA was found to have stolen approximately 5000.00 in cash. The charges filed against Mojica are Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Failing to Make Required Disposition of Funds. A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
