On 4/14/2020 at 1:30 P.M., police were called to the intersection of Pottstown Pike and Kirkland Ave for a disturbance by a passerby.  Upon arrival, it was learned that members of the Devereux School staff were restraining a client who left campus and would not return.  During staff attempts to restrain the client, an unidentified white male, appeared on location in a dark red Jeep Cherokee (possible 2015). with an unknown registration plate.  The driver, described as a white male in his 60's, 5'10" wearing a baseball cap and surgical mask, exited the vehicle, drew a firearm and pointed it at the Devereux staff.  Once he learned that Devereux staff had dialed 911, the unidentified male told staff he was a 30 year police veteran and then left the scene north on Pottstown Pike toward Boot Road.  It was learned that the male had a female passenger who did not exit the vehicle.
