The Spring City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance related to a motor vehicle theft.
On August 31, 2025, at approximately 2:53 a.m. two male subjects wearing black hooded sweatshirts, face coverings, and latex gloves broke into and attempted to steal a vehicle in the 200 block of Chestnut St. At approximately 3:15 a.m., a silver 2014 KIA Optima was stolen from a parking lot in the 200 block of South Main Street by the same subjects.
Police subsequently recovered the vehicle later the same day in Pottstown. These and additional suspected related incidents are under investigation.
If you have any information regarding the theft or security video of suspicious activity in the area around these times, please contact the Spring City Police Department immediately. Your help is vital in identifying and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
