The Spring City Borough Civil Service Commission is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Have successfully completed the training required under PA Act 120 prior to appointment.
• Physically and mentally able to perform the full duties of a police officer.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

The Civil Service Commission testing will establish an eligibility list.  Testing consists of written examination, physical fitness test, oral examination, and background investigation. 

Candidates who successfully complete all phases of the selection process will be placed on an eligibility list for potential employment.

Appointment to the position of Police Officer shall be contingent upon passing physical and psychological examinations.

Starting salary: $62,025.60

Upon completion of 12 month probation: $73,611.20 (in 2026).
