To help everyone celebrate safely and legally, we’d like to remind you of Pennsylvania’s fireworks laws:
🚫 Fireworks Use Restrictions
Consumer fireworks may not be:
- Purchased, possessed, or uses by individuals less that 18 years of age.
- Ignited or discharged on public or private property, including, but not limited to, streets, parking lots, sidewalks and parks, without the express permission of the owner or entity that controls the property.
- Directed at another person.
- Discharged from or toward a building or vehicle.
- Used within 150 feet of any building or vehicle — even if you own it.
- Used while under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances, or other drugs.
With very few exceptions, there are no areas within the Borough of Spring City where it is legal to set off consumer-grade fireworks.
Let’s work together to keep our community safe and enjoyable for all this 4th of July weekend!
