Downingtown Borough is thrilled to introduce Passport, a convenient mobile payment application that simplifies parking management. With the Passport Parking app, available for free on the App Store or Google Play, users can now pay for parking sessions remotely. Payment can also be made through the Passport website at www.passportparking.com.

Signs will be placed throughout town to indicate the different parking zones. When you select the zone in the app, the user-friendly interface displays the costs, time restrictions, and options for the length of stay. You will be able to add time from a remote location. If you drive multiple vehicles, you can add them all to the app, but you must choose the correct license plate when you pay to park. Enforcement is done by license plate. 

Passport will also handle the payment of parking tickets, and the link will be on the ticket, should you receive one.   

Parking kiosks will remain available for both cash and card payments in most zones. However, you must use the Passport app when parking in the Johnsontown Park and Park Lane lots. These lots will be Passport app only, meaning you can only pay for parking in these lots using the app.
