On October 21, 2021 the OPD was dispatched to the 500 Blk Lincoln Street for a single vehicle accident. The vehicle operator, Cesar Jimenez-Juarez, 23, of Oxford, stated that his vehicle had left the roadway and struck a business sign.  After an investigation it was determined that Jimenez-Juarez was intoxicated when the accident occurred. After Officers received blood alcohol results, charges were filed for DUI and Reckless Driving.
