On February 14, 2023 at 12:31am the Oxford Police observed a vehicle operating erratically in the area of Lincoln Street and Market Street.  The vehicle passed another vehicle at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle where contact was made with the operator, Steven Mozdzierz, 55, of Oxford.  Mozdzierz exhibited multiple signs of intoxication and subsequently showed further signs of impairment during standardized field sobriety tests.  Mozdzierz was taken into custody and transported to the PA State Police Barracks where he provided a breath sample.  He was processed and released pending a summons for DUI and related traffic offenses.
