On August 26, 2022 at 11:29 pm the Oxford Police came upon a vehicle with no headlights or hazards on that was partially blocking Mount Vernon Street at the intersection of East Hillside Drive. Contact was made with the operator, Richard Snyder, 61, of York, who showed signs of impairment.  A field sobriety test was administered which showed further signs of impairment. Snyder was placed into custody and transported to PSP Avondale Barracks to have a breath test administered. Snyder was processed and released to a family member pending a summons.
