On October 10, 2022 at 3:15 pm the Oxford Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle failing to stop for a red traffic signal in the 200 Blk South Third Street.  While the Officer was making contact with the operator, Darryl Stanley, 60, of Nottingham, he observed, in plain view, a partially smoked marijuana cigarette.  A strong odor of raw marijuana was also detected emanating from the vehicle.  After a positive hit from a Police K9, the vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was obtained.  located inside the vehicle was a large quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  

On October 31, 2022 Stanley was taken into custody, processed, and transported by Constables to Chester County Prison.
