On June 26, 2022 at 2:11 pm the Oxford Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 400 Blk North Third Street.  The reporting party stated that the suspect, Jorge Vega Camacho, 31, of Lincoln University, had struck the female victim with a crow bar.  The victim provided a statement that Vega Camacho had struck her in the back with a crowbar and punched her repeatedly, while threatening her.  Vega Camacho was located a short time later at another residence where he was taken into custody without further incident and was transported by Constables to Chester County Prison to await an arraignment.
