On April 12, 2022, The OPD is investigating an assault that occurred on a playground along the 600 block Garfield Street at 5:30pm. While enroute to the school the police and ambulance were dispatched to the 200 Block S 5th Street to treat the same juvenile victim for serious injuries to their eye.
