The Oxford Borough Police are aware that there are numerous rumors and social media posts regarding a suspicious van in the Borough.  To be clear, the Oxford Borough Police has received only one recent call on October 25, 2022, at 11:55am in reference to a suspicious van in the Borough.  That call was texted anonymously from a phone number in Avondale to the 911 call center and has been determined to be unfounded.  Again, the Oxford Borough Police have received no recent valid reports about suspicious vehicles, possible abductions, or anyone tampering with homes or vehicles.  Again, as a reminder, if you see something, say something.  Call 911 immediately.
